VINTAGE MIXING

The engineers at Matthews Music Group are ready to apply a 50s/60s-style workflow to your tracks. Our Vintage Mixing service is perfect for those who want to showcase the quality of their performance without hiding behind layers of post-production processing.
Minimalism, Tubes, and the Magic of Analog-style Sound
We approach mixing and mastering as a process of bringing out the core essence of a track. Our workflow is detail-oriented and relies on analog processing techniques that emphasize depth, dynamics, and the unique character of the sound.
Because of this approach, not every project aligns with our vision. We carefully review each proposal and only take on a project when we believe we can fully realize and enhance the artistic vision. A key feature of vintage mixing is its reliance on the quality of the source material. If you’ve performed and recorded your material well, vintage mixing can easily bring out and highlight the song’s character, giving it a sense of space. Try applying the techniques and standards of the 1950s to your work right now.

  • Q:
    How long does it take?
    A:
We typically deliver completed orders to clients within 12–24 hours of starting work on the order. However, in some cases, the service may be provided significantly later, up to 14 business days from the date of the order. We recommend checking with your manager for an estimated completion time.
  • Q:
What should I do if my application is denied?
    A:
Unfortunately, this does happen. If your request is rejected, the full amount will be automatically refunded to the account from which the payment was made. A rejection is always accompanied by a transaction report detailing the reasons for the refusal. Most likely, if you resolve the issues listed, your submission will be accepted when you place a new order.
